Come hear experts discuss consumer privacy concepts, case law and regulation in the electronic data age. Consumer data collection activities (the hows and whys) will be explained against the backdrop of data security standards and regulations. When the security plans fail and data is stolen or lost, private and public enforcement of the statutory and common law comes into play. Our experts will explain the types of claims available to consumers and the defenses available to the corporations. This is a catered evening event with a robust Q & A planned.
